CCDI Leadership
Jose Cabral
Founder & VP of Engineering
Jose is the founder of CCDI and serves as the company’s Vice President of Engineering. A graduate of Purdue University with a degree in Electrical Engineering, he began his career in the Japanese automotive industry, where he spent time in Japan studying Lean Manufacturing within the Toyota Production System (TPS).
After more than a decade in manufacturing, Jose recognized a growing gap between companies’ engineering resources and their increasing workloads. In 2020, he launched CCDI with a clear mission: to provide top-tier engineering talent to help organizations bridge those gaps one project at a time.
Although he enjoys the strategic and visionary aspects of being a founder, Jose remains deeply hands-on. He can often be found on-site working alongside his team and supporting clients directly.
Outside of work, Jose spends his time with his family, bodybuilding, and working on his collection of cars: including his BMWs, a ‘68 Chevelle, and an H1 Humvee.
Chuck Payne
VP of Operations
Chuck brings decades of hands-on manufacturing experience to his role as VP of Operations at CCDI. With a career built on driving operational excellence, he has a proven track record of transforming processes, reducing costs, and delivering results in demanding industrial environments.
During his time as Small Extrusion and Casting Senior Manager at ARCONIC, Chuck led a large production scale-up effort, growing monthly output from 5,000 to 150,000 units in an accelerated timeframe, all while maintaining a strong safety culture. As Engineering and Maintenance Manager, he set strategic direction for the facility, overseeing capital planning and execution while improving plantwide OEE. His focus on operational efficiency generated $300,000 in annual cost savings by reducing personnel overtime by 60% without sacrificing production output.
Chuck is known for his ability to lead multimillion-dollar capital projects from start to finish, troubleshoot complex equipment and system failures, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive improvements that last. He brings the same practical, no-nonsense approach to every challenge—whether it’s streamlining a process, solving a problem on the floor, or building a better system from the ground up.
Megan Cabral
Office & Sales Manager
Megan oversees the administrative operations of the company, managing everything from onboarding and payroll to insurance enrollment. With a background in engineering office administration and banking, she brings a strong foundation of organization, structure, and process improvement to the team.
Deeply committed to community involvement, Megan is a graduate of Leadership Lafayette Class 51 and went on to serve on its Board of Directors. She is currently leading the development of a new Sales department—an exciting step for a company that has grown exclusively through word of mouth.
Outside of work, Megan enjoys spending time with her husband, their son, and their three daughters.
